We feel that personal and social development is a pre-requisite for successful learning. A young person who has a high degree of self worth, a sense of security and a positive self image will be more pre-disposed to school life and to the variety of learning situations it offers.
Personal Social and Health Education was introduced into our formal curriculum in September 2012. Each form class meets with their form tutor for one session of PSHE per week. Assessment is ongoing by means of student projects and presentations. Each student is required to maintain a portfolio of their work for final assessment at the end of each academic year.
