Caleb British International students are required to maintain high standards both with regard to presentation of homework and classwork. The following guidelines pertain to presentation of work:⦁It is important that all students take pride in their work and present it accordingly. Scrappy presentation is often an indication of lack of care and poor content⦁All written work should be done in blue or black pen. Students are not to use red ink in written work. Mistakes should be neatly crossed through and re-written or removed with an ink eraser. Tippex must not be used⦁All exercise books should be clearly labeled with name, form and subject on the front and must have no other decoration applied⦁All exercise books should be covered with Paper
ALL PIECES OF WORK DONE SHOULD:
⦁have a title at the top of the page and this should be underlined with a ruler
⦁have a date and this should be underlined
⦁have a left-hand margin for question numbers only
⦁have any errors crossed out with a single horizontal line
⦁be neat, tidy and thorough
⦁have no rough work or graffiti on the front and back inside covers of exercise books, as these are used for target setting WORK
PRODUCED ON A COMPUTER SHOULD ALSO CONFORM TO CERTAIN CONVENTIONS AND STUDENTS SHOULD COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING:
⦁Put a title on the work.
⦁Use a sensible font size and style.
⦁Save work regularly.
⦁Check print preview before printing.
⦁Name should be in the header on the left hand side.
⦁Date should be in the header on the right hand side.
⦁Teacher’s name should be in the footer on the left hand side.
⦁Subject name should be in the footer on the right hand side.
